ALPENIQ IT

IT that runs.

Your IT should just run, without you thinking about it. ALPENIQ IT takes over your entire IT operation: Microsoft 365, devices, network, security, backup and support. Available, secure, in the background, as managed service and managed security (MSP + MSSP).

IT only becomes a topic when it fails.

As long as everything runs, you do not think about your IT. That is exactly the problem: without a reliable partner you notice the gaps only when something stops or data is gone.

No reliable partner

The big provider is expensive and slow, the single freelancer not always reachable. In between, someone who knows your setup is missing.

Grown, tangled structures

Over the years one thing led to another. Today no one knows exactly how it all connects.

Security as an afterthought

Firewall, backup and permissions run along on the side. An incident reveals what is missing.

Unpredictable IT costs

Sometimes an emergency, sometimes a purchase. Costs come in bursts instead of predictably.

Compliance and insurance pressure

Customers, audits or insurers demand proof you cannot produce at the push of a button.

No overview, no monitoring

Problems surface once they are already there, not before they hit you.

Big provider, freelancer or IT?

Between the expensive big provider and the single freelancer, the right size is often missing: close, reliable and secure from the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Swiss SMEs up to around 20 people without a reliable IT partner, between the expensive big provider and the single freelancer.

You pay a predictable monthly price instead of costs in bursts. The exact amount depends on size and scope, we lay it out transparently in the strategy call.

Yes. You rent firewall, switches and access points. The devices remain our property, so you have predictable costs instead of large purchases.

Monitoring runs around the clock: the Fortinet security operations stack is on continuously and raises an alert automatically the moment something looks wrong. Response happens within the agreed service hours. We state that split openly rather than making a blanket 24/7 promise that fails on staffing when it matters.

Security is built in from the start: segmentation, backup and clear permissions. Where data sovereignty matters, we work with local infrastructure.

No large corporations with complex data centres. We specialise in micro and small SMEs, that is where we are really good.

In stages, without interrupting your business. We first record your existing setup, document it and then take over step by step. You notice as little of the switch as possible, except that things run more calmly afterwards.

Through continuous monitoring. We watch your systems and spot warning signs, full disks, missing updates, unusual traffic, often before you feel them. That turns a looming outage into a quiet maintenance job.

Yes. Setup, management and securing of your Microsoft environment are part of it, from mailbox through Teams to the device via Intune. So users, permissions and devices are managed in one place instead of scattered.

We build protection in layers: firewall, network segmentation, endpoint protection and tested backups. No one serious promises one hundred percent protection, but we cut the risk clearly and make sure you can act again if the worst happens.

Only a tested backup is a backup. We back up encrypted and traceable and check the restore, not only when things are burning. So you know your data really does come back in an emergency.

Swiss framework conditions

Which IT security obligations apply in Switzerland?

Since 1 April 2025, operators of critical infrastructure must report cyberattacks to the Federal Office for Cybersecurity within 24 hours of discovery; the associated sanctions have applied since 1 October 2025 and reach up to CHF 100'000. Ordinary SMEs are not subject to this reporting duty — the general data-security obligation under Art. 8 FADP applies to them.

Cantonal differences

Cantonal and municipal administrations fall expressly within the BACS reporting duty. An IT provider serving a municipality therefore works under a stricter regime than with a private client of the same size.
