Marketing Automation

In short
Marketing automation is software that triggers marketing steps by rule: fill in a form and a mail sequence starts; visit the pricing page repeatedly and sales gets a nudge. It automates the timing and the order, not the message — the content stays handmade.
What it actually automates
Timing and sequence, not substance. The system decides who gets what and when; a person still writes what it says.
Which is exactly why it does not compensate for missing content. A sequence of five weak mails only delivers weakness more reliably.
When it starts to pay
When the same sequence happens often enough that someone is doing it by hand — and when there are enough enquiries for the sorting to matter at all. At five enquiries a month a personal mail beats any sequence.
So the honest prior step is usually a different one: making enquiries arrive predictably in the first place. That is a question of lead generation, not of software.
How it differs from process automation
Marketing automation faces outward, along the customer journey. Process automation faces inward, along internal workflows — approvals, filing, handovers.
The tools overlap: Power Automate can trigger either. What separates them is who stands at the end of the chain.
How we handle it
We build the first sequence only once the numbers justify it, and measure it against the state before. An automation without a baseline can never be switched off, because nobody can say whether it works.
Approach: process automation and AI consulting.
